Onelife UK is a London based charity set up by DJ’s Mete Alpsakarya and Wayne Eldridge in 2009 to help vulnerable young people realise their potential and make a successful transition to adulthood.
Since our launch we have opened our own DJ, and Music production, Film Making and Silver Surfers Academies and have set up numerous programs for under achieving and deprived kids.
Our programs are housed in various locations across london in venues such as, Chelsea, West Ham and Leyton Orient Football Clubs- we also our very own Onelife UK Center's across London and our outreach programs also run at schools or local community halls
Onelife UK provides emotional support and practical assistance with education, training, and workshops.
We also run community-based programmes for young people who have committed crimes, encouraging young people to take responsibility for their actions and diverting them from high-risk behavior.
Our services target some of the most vulnerable young people, and include services for children and young people in trouble
with the law, leaving care services and alternatives to education.
Onelife UK are considered a provider of a number of these services
"Around one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or training.
Youth unemployment costs the UK economy £10 million a day in lost productivity,
while youth crime costs £1 billion every year.
OnelifeUK address these issues by giving practical support to the young people
who need it most.
We help develop key skills, confidence and motivation, enabling young people to
move into work, education or training."
